Freakin' Fill Out Your Census Already

It's May 16, 2006, Census Day. If I had a nickel for every time in the past few days I had heard someone talk about how confused they were about the census, or asking what it was, or not wanting to fill it out, or hostile towards it, or convinced that it was a government plot to steal their personal information, or concerned about it being contracted out to an American organization, I would be a very wealthy person.

How can you be a Canadian adult and have never heard of the census before? It happens every six years.

And how can you not comprehend that you have to fill it out? They come and give you a form, just fill it out ding dong! It's a no brainer! It's the law!

And no, the Census was not contracted out to an American firm. It's run by Statistics Canada.

So, hey, count yourself in.
