On Muffins and Other Baked Goods
I have this phobia of other people's baking. I always think it's full of germs, or unclean somehow.
Bake sales scare me. The thought of intentionally buying someone else's baking perplexes me. Why wouldn't I just bake it myself in my own clean kitchen instead of taking a chance on someone else's? Who knows if they wash their dishes properly? Who knows if they washed their hands?
Even buying baking from grocery stores kind of makes me quesy. Especially muffins. Even muffins from restaurants. I think they harbour germs and pathogens. Take a look at one next time you buy it. It's moist. Is that healthy? Especially when the surface is glistening. That can't be healthy. It's a wonder why more people aren't ill these days with all the muffin consumption going on.
Bread and buns purchased from stores are okay, however from other sources they are if-fy.
Thank goodness for my Mom and Gramma. Their food is always safe.
