Old Me, New Me

I was looking through some old emails today and I found this quiz that I did November 30, 2004. I’ve kept the old answers but also added new answers. For your enjoyment. And because I'm playing this game today where I see how long I can go without doing any actual work.

1. What time did you get up this morning?
8:06AM
new answer: 8:01AM

2. Diamonds or pearls?
I wouldn't want a pearl engagement ring, but I have this really neat pearl pendant necklace that I "borrowed" from my Mom. She got it from one of her old boyfriends so I don't think she's worn it in a very long time.
new answer: I still like pearls, but my finger is still empty and I wouldn't mind a diamond ring. I don't wear that necklace anymore because it needs to be fixed.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?

Ladder 49.
new answer: Over the Hedge. P.S. Who calls it the cinema?

4. What is your favorite TV show?
CSI I suppose.
new answer: I definitely would not say CSI. Maybe Project Runway or Project Catwalk or Canada's Next Top Model (Creative shows suck me in). Actually, I take all those answers back. Hands down, it's Felicity.

5. What did you have for breakfast?
Ritz crackers from my desk, at about 11:30am
new answer: There were some salt and pepper chips lying on the coffee table in front of the fireplace at work that I had a handful of. There are mostly only the little crumbies left and I was wishing there were bigger chips.

6. What is your middle name?
Like who doesn't know that.
new answer: Same answer. Everyone knows my middle names.

7. What is your favorite cuisine?

I like Chinese.
new answer: Oh gosh. How good would Chinese food be RIGHT NOW?

8. What foods do you dislike?
Most bean things.
new answer: that is seriously the best answer I've ever answered a question.

9. What is your favorite chip flavor?
Old Dutch Ketchup
new answer: Oh my goodness, how I wish they sold Old Dutch chips in Ontario.

10. What is your favorite CD at the moment?
That's a toughie since I currently find most of my CDs boring and over-listened too. There is much to say for a good ol' John Mayer classic though.
new answer: I like songs #3 and #9 on the new Downhere, but overall I'm getting tired of that CD as a whole.

11. What kind of car do you drive?

93 dodge spirit - 4 doors
new answer: Obviously I forgot to delete the previous person’s answer, because I did and still drive Hot Rod, my 92 Mazda 323, red with 3 doors.

12. Favorite sandwich?
I don't really like sandwiches. But my Gramma makes really good bread.
new answer: Yeah, I still am not a huge fan of sandwiches. At work I always go with the weird sliced chicken choice along with two slices of tomato and a bit of mayonnaise. At home, I eat a toasted tomato sandwich pretty much every single night for supper.

13. What characteristic do you despise?
The characteristic of people who invade your personal space. I like to call them Personal Space Invaders.
new answer: Gosh, that is such a good answer, I don't think I can top it. But I will add that I don't like people who can't make up their own mind and need to be told what to do.

14. Favorite item of clothing?
My tan wool sweater. Or my cool green Los Angeles t-shirt.
new answer: I still like that sweater, but it's summer. That green shirt is okay, but kinda fits weird. I'd say right now I really like these capri pants I bought at Jacob, I have them in chocolate brown and a light beige (I bought them at different times, so I'm not lame like people who buy one in each colour all at once, right?). My favourite shirt is a chocolate brown t-shirt with a tree on it and it says "GRAND CANYON, ARIZONA" and people always say "Oh, you've been to Arizona?" and I say "Nope, but I've been to Old Navy!" It's kind of fading though. Very sad state.

15.if you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
England.
new answer: The past year or so I've totally given up on the "I want to go to Europe" thing and instead I'm going to Manitoba at the end of this month which is totally exactly where I want to go.

16. What color is your bathroom?
This nice shade of light brown/dark tan/dark beige, and white and navy blue.
new answer: Same bathroom. But I'd also like to say what kind of a survey question is that?

18. Where would you retire to?
My Gramma's house.
new answer: I don't know.

20. What was your most memorable birthday?
Um... I guess 18.
new answer: 28.

21. Where were you born?
Middle-of-Nowhere, Saskatchewan. And you're all so jealous.
new answer: You're still jealous.

22. Favorite sport to watch?
Who wants to watch sports when you can play them?
new answer: I’d give the same answer.

25. What fabric detergent do you use?
I have this gross Tide at the moment with built in Downy. I wish Tide Tabs would come back.
new answer: I STILL WISH TIDE TABS WOULD COME BACK. I think I use some other sort of Tide. I'm not sure, I threw the box away and put it in a fake Tupperware container. Because I can't afford real Tupperware.

26. Coke or Pepsi?
Pop is gross.
new answer: Colas are gross. Some pop is okay some of the time.

27. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Night time. Like I would choose to get up in the morning.
new answer: Old answer suffices.

29. Do you have any pets?
Blackey and Ched live at home.
new answer: I don't have any pets, but Blackey still lives at my parents.

31. What did you want to be when you were little?
A baker. This was pre-kindergarten.
new answer: My childhood self hasn't changed.

32. What are you doing today?
Wasting time on the internet because there's nothing to do at work.
new answer: Seeing how long I can go without doing any real work.

33. If you could, what would you like to be doing now as far as a career is concerned?
Too bad I can't say what I'm doing now. I think I would be doing a combination of arts and crafts and working on computers and interacting with a lot of people. It would be super fun too to do layout design as long as it wasn't the yearbook.
new answer: This is always a tough question. I'd like a job interacting with people more. I will say that I think that respect is integral in the work environment. And I wouldn't do that much computer stuff. I would like a job that I can be passionate about and one in that I am encouraged to be so.

That is all.
