I Wear Womens Size 8 Shoes

When Gmail first came out and Blogger gave out free invites, I snatched up my name at gmail dot com because I thought it would be a good idea to have all that free storage space.

Although, I've never really switched over to using Gmail wholeheartedly, I still like having all that storage space, you know, just in case.

So every few weeks I check it, mostly because sometimes I have this one friend who sends stuff there even though I constantly tell her to send it to Hotmail instead.

Other than that, usually I just get a lot of spam. However, since January, I've also started to get mail for other people with the same name as me. One of my favourites up to this point was an invite to a bachelorette part in NYC.

And then, today I got this:

Unfortunately, the item that you ordered on our website is not available. We have canceled your order for the Marc Jacobs "Gladiator" in silver size 11; we will send you the other shoe you ordered. We apologize for any inconvenience

Aren't Marc Jacobs really expensive shoes? Wow.

The funniest emails I've received are ones inviting me to Dave Matthews concerts in NYC and people who think I'm related to them so they send me portfolios of their work. I fully switched over to Gmail a few years ago and it has been wonderful. It's just a matter of time Michelle :)

Sigh. I size out to an 11 1/2 or 12. Nice, huh? Shoes in that size are rarely cute.

I'm imagining some BigFoot of a Bridesmaid arriving at the party sans shoes, her feet wrapped in burlap, the only thing that would fit...

when you're a woman with a size 11 foot do you really want to wear a shoe called gladiator? In silver at that!
