Wash Your Hands Germies

I tried to find a copy of an Ontario Health poster on "proper handwashing technique" that one of my places of employ has posted up in their kitchenette, but alas, I could not find it anywhere online.

However, there are two funny things to note:

a) It specifically tells you to clip your nails short. I have had short nails my entire life, until a month ago when I grew them out. For anyone who knows me, you might consider this an unbelievable feat.
b) There are 13 steps in proper handwashing. I can't even comment on this. Thirteen!

Warm water, soap, sing "Happy Birthday" and keep your hands under the water the entire time! Turn off the taps with a paper towel you remembered to dispense before you turned the water on. Don't touch anything with your hands afterwards! Nope, can't think of 13! Crazy! Oh, by the way "Happy birthday" according to the Oprah Show is the correct amount of time you should have your hands under the water, rubbing them continuously the whole time!

Can't you take a photo of the poster? Or is it copyrighted?

13 is a whole lot. You need to take a photo of the poster, I need to see it.

Is this the same poster that concludes with the statement "Your hands are now safe"?

Hmm... I'm not sure what the poster ends with. But it does make me chuckle every time I see it.

Unfortunately you can't take photos in an office building, there's that whole security thing...
