I'd walk a thousand miles

i like this song, and i know that i'll be saying it soon. i wish sometimes that transportation was never invented because then people would never move away or leave. would our lives be more constant? would our lives be simpler and less complicated? sometimes i think so, but sometimes i know that, no, it would not be so.

it's always times like these when I think of you
and I wonder if you ever think of me
'cause everything's so wrong and I don't belong
living in your precious memory
cuz I need you
and I miss you
and now I wonder...
oh 'cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles
if I could just see you tonight
I, I don't wanna let you know
I, I drown in your memory
I, I don't wanna let this go
I, I don't ...

- Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles
